Job title: Terminal Coordinator
Location: Southampton
Position Type: Permanent, full-time.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday - 45 hours per week (1 hour paid lunch break).
As a Terminal Coordinator you will be responsible for dealing with customer service requests, including but not limited to, depot related queries, all M&R related admin, Cargo admin and planning, shunt planning and delivery, bonded storage requests.

Key responsibilities
* Handling all customer queries, including communications with shipping lines and hauliers.
* Complete administration for yard services, maintenance and repair and cargo handling.
* Preparing reports for customers detailing cargo handling reports and photos.
* Input shunt details into TOPS.
* Scheduling workloads and container moves for Cargo Handling, Shunt drivers and Maintenance and Repair.
* Plan & issue shunts to ensure all containers moved within relevant time frames.
* Controlling internal tug access within the Gate Management System / VBS for both Freightliner and external bodies ensuring all shunts are completed as per plan.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role within shipping lines, port operations, haulage and /or container handling operations.
* Attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication.
* Strong team player.
* Demonstrate a strong customer service focus.
* Ideally have the knowledge of container ISO standards.
