About The Role
Are you ready to take the next step in your culinary career? We’re on the lookout for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join our vibrant team! Reporting to the Senior Kitchen Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in running our kitchen and leading a dynamic team of up to 40 talented individuals.
At the heart of our values is the mission to make our guests smile. You’ll ensure that every operational decision keeps our guests at the forefront. Your responsibilities will include:
* Resource planning and recruitment to build the best team for exceptional service.
* Monitoring guest experiences and developing action plans for continuous improvement.
* Managing food cost budgets through effective menu planning and adherence to cooking standards.
* Ensuring compliance with food hygiene standards and health and safety regulations.
As a role model for Butlin’s unique way of working, you’ll inspire your team through training schedules and performance development plans, ensuring they deliver a fantastic experience to our guests every time. Join us in our main buffet restaurant, where you’ll lead and develop a team dedicated to serving our half-board dining guests!
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
* Confidence in leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
