Smart Teachers are seeking to appoint a SENDCO for a fixed-term contract starting after half term.
Responsibilities
* Lead on the strategic development of SEND provision within the school
* Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the needs of all learners are met
* Oversee the day-to-day operation of the SEND policy
* Be committed to inclusive practice and raising achievement for students with additional needs

Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCo) or currently working towards the qualification
* Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and current legislation
* Ability to lead and manage staff effectively, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Hold QTS
