Overview
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to lead a new-build construction project in Bradford. This is a site-based, permanent position requiring a strong background in Design & Build (D&B) delivery, with responsibility for managing both the construction and design coordination aspects of the project.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the lead (Number 1) Project Manager on site.
* Drive and manage the design process, ensuring coordination between architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
* Oversee day-to-day site operations across the full project lifecycle.
* Manage financial variations, budgets, and cost control.
* Coordinate multiple subcontractors involved in complex design elements.
* Work closely with internal teams to resolve design and build challenges.
* Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
* Use planning tools/software to monitor progress and maintain project programmes.
* Provide leadership and support to the on-site team.

* Duration: Around 12 months on site

Candidate Requirements
1. Essential:
o Proven experience as a Project Manager in Design & Build projects
o Strong ability to manage and drive the design process
o Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors on complex schemes
o Ability to manage project finances and variations
o Proficiency with planning and project management software
o Demonstrable, verifiable project history
2. Desirable:
o Experience in education or similarly complex builds
o Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Certifications & Compliance
* CSCS Card (preferred)
* Relevant site certifications (e.g. SMSTS, First Aid)
* Ongoing training and renewals supported by the company
Salary & Benefits
* Salary: £55,000 – £65,000
