A fantastic opportunity has arisen within North Lincolnshire Youth Justice Partnership (YJP) for a Case Manager/Court Officer to join our team. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed individual to become part of our highly innovative and motivated workforce. The pace is fast, and the work can be complex. You will need excellent engagement and communication skills and the ability to effectively manage children and young people subject to Court Orders in both community and custodial settings as well as through our prevention and diversion offer. You will develop skills and experience in representing the YJP within a court setting. You must be able to plan and organise your work, demonstrate professional curiosity and be able to work in a multi-agency manner in line with our one family approach. The job can be very demanding at times, but also extremely rewarding. The guiding principle for the YJP is Child First and as a case manger there will be an expectation that this is demonstrated within practice, alongside good relational practice skills. Dependent upon existing qualifications, there may be an expectation for you to work towards achieving a Youth Justice qualification. To apply and be considered for this position your application will clearly evidence the job description, and the employee specification attached. If you have any questions about the role please contact Kevin Heath via email As an employer, we promote and safeguard the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect the same commitment from existing and prospective employees or volunteers. Recruitment to this post will follow our safer recruitment procedure which includes us requesting references prior to interview and a DBS check.
