The Company
Central Engineering Design Ltd was formed in 2002 providing electro plating services to professional restorers of vintage classic and custom vehicles. Repairing damaged and corroded parts and refinishing them. Including in some cases the remanufacture of missing parts. Very much inline with metalwork parts you may see repaired on the "Repair Shop". The work can be varied interesting and rewarding.
Other services the company provides are design orientated work that includes security products such as equipment for training dogs for the detection of drugs, explosives, and diseases. Leisure products for Alfred Dunhill, medical test equipment, fuel tanks and heat exchangers for drones just to name a few. All our work is either one off/prototype or low batch production.
Job Description
To work autonomously in a small engineering fabrication department based in Folkestone, Kent. To work from drawings, sketches and basic patterns and when required to work as part of a team to help engineer solutions.

This position has been created by semi-retirement of our current Sheetmetal worker, But will currently be available for training and transfer of procedures and skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.50-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
