Job Description: Complementary Therapist
We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and highly motivated individual to join our dynamic multi-professional team as a complementary therapist at our Specialist Palliative Unit in Roxburghe House.
The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate the ability to support patients and relatives with complex needs during difficult and often distressing circumstances.
The post holder will also play a key role in supporting our day unit, which offers a 12-week programme for outpatients with life-limiting conditions.
Requirements:
* Accredited qualifications (e.g., ITEC, IIHHT, IIST, NVQ3 or equivalent)/Qualified Nail Technician with experience.
* Knowledge of working in a hospital/healthcare setting is preferable.
* Ability to provide emotional support and tailor treatments to improve patients' symptoms, physical, and mental health.
* Recent experience delivering complementary therapies (e.g., massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, meditation) to individuals with health problems, including palliative care needs.
