Freelance Foreman - Guildford (7-Month Project) Start Date: Approx. 4 weeks from now Duration: Circa 7 months Location: Guildford Rate: £300 per day (CIS) We are seeking an experienced Freelance Foreman to join an upcoming infrastructure project in Guildford. This is a great opportunity to take a leading role in a technically engaging scheme with a well-established civil engineering contractor. The Role You will be responsible for overseeing site operations and supervising works associated with the replacement of an existing weir. The role will involve managing labour, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Day-to-day supervision of site activities Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and specifications Managing health & safety on site Coordinating plant, labour, and materials Liaising with the site management team and stakeholders Scope of Works Includes Small-scale piling operations Concrete works Water management, including pumping and raising an existing cofferdam Crane operations due to the remote nature of the site Requirements Proven experience as a Foreman on civil engineering or infrastructure projects Strong understanding of health & safety and site management Experience in similar works (piling, concrete, water management) is highly desirable Ability to lead teams and deliver projects on programme What's on Offer £300 per day (CIS) Long-term contract (circa 7 months) Opportunity to work on a technically interesting and rewarding project If you're an experienced Foreman available in the coming weeks and looking for your next freelance role, we'd like to hear from you.
