Overview
We have a house in Liskeard where we support two ladies to live together in their own home. Both have a learning disability and many other complex needs. They receive 24‑hour support (one 2:1, the other 1:1) and lead a fun‑filled life with daily community activities such as horse riding, swimming, concerts, gym, nature walks and sensory room sessions.
We are seeking an enthusiastic person with an open mind and positive attitude who can support our ladies to live their best lives, access the community and keep them safe in their home.
Responsibilities
The role includes personal care duties and all tasks associated with living independently.
Shift Details
Our shifts include:
* 8‑8 day
* 8:30‑7:00 day
* 8‑8 resting (sleep)
* waking nights 8‑8
We are not currently looking for waking night staff, but a willingness to help cover shortages is always helpful. Part‑time positions are available, with full‑day shifts and extra hours available as overtime. Weekend work is expected as part of a 4‑week rolling rota. Overtime also offers holiday cover when needed.
Qualifications
Driving licence is preferred. One of our ladies drives her own manual car; if you need to use your own car, mileage will be paid at 45p per mile.
