We have an exciting opportunity for a Revenues Officer to join our team! Do you have experience in Customer Service? Have high attention to detail and enjoy providing accurate advice to customers? We would like to hear from you! We are seeking a diligent and customer-focused Revenues Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date Council Tax and Business Rates records, as well as handling inquiries from the public, colleagues, and external organisations. About the role Maintain accurate and up-to-date Council Tax and Business Rates records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. Handle inquiries from the public, colleagues, and external organisations promptly and professionally, providing accurate advice and guidance. Investigate and resolve queries related to Council Tax and Business Rates, delving deeper to find accurate and complete information. Liaise with relevant authorities and agencies to ensure accurate billing and collection of Council Tax and Business Rates. Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify and rectify any discrepancies or errors in Council Tax and Business Rates records. Stay updated with changes in legislation and regulations pertaining to Council Tax and Business Rates, ensuring accurate advice and compliance.
