About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and organised Goods In/Out Operative to join our busy Service team in Dartford.
This is a hands-on role supporting the smooth operation of our service department. You will be responsible for booking in service equipment, preparing items for dispatch, managing stock, and providing a professional and friendly first point of contact for customers visiting the service facility.

What You'll Be Doing
1. Picking and packing equipment and spare parts orders
2. Receiving and booking in incoming service repairs
3. Logging items onto the ERP system and tagging for servicing
4. Managing outgoing repairs and preparing them for dispatch
5. Packing equipment and coordinating courier collections
6. Greeting customers and handling service handovers
7. Completing and checking relevant documentation
8. Handling incoming courier shipments and unpacking goods
9. Maintaining a clean, organised and presentable service and reception area
10. Carrying out regular stock checks and assisting with stock takes
11. Liaising with procurement regarding stock discrepancies
12. Providing ad hoc support to stores, service and production teams
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
13. Experienced in goods in/out, stores or dispatch roles
14. Confident in a customer-facing environment
15. Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths and English
16. Comfortable using IT systems and ERP software
17. Highly organised with strong attention to detail
18. Able to manage changing priorities effectively
19. Proactive, positive and enthusiastic
20. Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
21. A strong communicator
22. In possession of a valid driving licence
Desirable:
23. Counterbalance FLT licence
