Location based from Milton, Ipswich or Norwich with regular presence across all 3 hospices sites and with some hybrid working
Full Time, hours per week - Applications for flexible/part-time working (minimum 30 hours) are welcomed

This is a unique and exciting opportunity for a dynamic, motivated and experienced Senior Practitioner / Managerto lead our Wellbeing Service. You will ensure high quality and holistic care is provided to the families of babies, children and young people with life-threatening/limiting conditions (including bereaved families).
The role will lead a team of three Wellbeing Managers, reporting to the EACH Director of Care. The role holder will be part of the Care senior leadership team, working collaboratively with Head of Nursing, Head of Performance and delivery and the Business Development Manager.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive wellbeing strategy, and lead initiatives aimed at fostering emotional and spiritual wellbeing across all three hospice sites.
You will lead and be part of a supportive and friendly multidisciplinary team with good links to regional and national palliative care networks and excellent opportunities for continued professional development.

Job Summary:
As the Head of Wellbeing andSpiritual Care, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the holistic care andsupport provided to children and their families within our hospices.
With a strategic focus ondeveloping and implementing a comprehensive wellbeing strategy, you will leadinitiatives aimed at fostering emotional, and spiritual wellbeing across allthree sites.
The role will manage allwellbeing services via the Locality wellbeing leads on each site at Norfolk,Suffolk and Cambridge, based in one hospice but with a regular presence in all3
Professionally qualifiedtherapists will be supported to continue direct clinical work at EACH andmaintain their registration
Responsibilities
Overall management of all wellbeing andspiritual care services at each including staff and budgets via the localitywellbeing leads and accountable Directly to the Director of care.
Work collaboratively with Head of Nursing, Headof Performance and delivery and the business development manager to be part ofthe each senior leadership team.
Responsibility for developing a WellbeingStrategy and Vision:
o Leadthe development of a wellbeing strategy and vision tailored to the unique needsof children and families served by the hospices.
o Collaboratewith stakeholders to ensure alignment of the strategy with organizational goalsand values.
oUsing recent reviews Identify key areas of focusand measurable outcomes to guide the implementation and evaluation of thestrategy.
oDevelop manageable processes to enhance efficiency and effectivenessproviding more time to undertake roles.
oConsider the useof external wellbeing centres to host therapeutic sessions, to provide choicein place of care and room capacity within the hospice buildings.
oDevelop and enhance the collection of impact assessment data and fullyevaluate any change and transformation as part of the care quality andperformance reporting
Implementation and oversight:
o Overseethe implementation of the wellbeing strategy across all three sites, ensuringconsistency and effectiveness of initiatives.
oProvideguidance and support to staff members involved in delivering wellbeing programsand services.
oMonitorand evaluate the impact of interventions, making adjustments as necessary tooptimize outcomes.
oProvideLine Management and ensure clinical supervision to Locality Wellbeing TeamLeads
oResponsiblefor identifying continuing professional development needs, ensuring access toeducational resource.
oEnsurethe required need for contracting with clients when commencing therapeuticsessions and manage teams capacity byevaluation of meeting attendance and caseload expectations.
oTo beresponsible for overseeing implementation of a range ofemotional/psychological/therapeutic interventions delivered by the wellbeingteam practitioners for individuals, carers, families and groups
oToevaluate and support wellbeing practitioners to make decisions about optionsfor therapeutic interventions taking into account both theoretical andtherapeutic models and highly complex factors concerning historical anddevelopmental processes that have shaped the individual, family, carers orgroup
oToensure wellbeing team professionals provide advice, guidance and consultation(as appropriate to their training/profession), to other professionals andcontribute directly to clinical formulation and multidisciplinary care plansfor children and their families/carers.
oToensure the wellbeing team practitioners contribute directly and indirectly to apsychologically based framework of understanding and care to the benefit of allclients of service, across all settings and agencies serving the client group(health, education, social care and third sector organisations), withparticular responsibility to consult to nursing colleagues in the hospice.
oToensure that wellbeing team practitioners undertake risk assessment and riskmanagement for individual clients and provide advice to other professions onpsychological aspects of risk assessment and risk management and makeappropriate onward referrals to mental health services when necessary.
oToensure that wellbeing practitioners practice within their competencies andmaintain professional registration as appropriate.
oToensure appropriate systems for the clinical and professional supervision ofqualified and unqualified members of the wellbeing teams.
Partnership development:
o Establishpartnerships with external organizations, community groups, and healthcareproviders to enhance wellbeing support services.

Utilizingoutputs from recent Wellbeing Review:
oReviewand analyse findings from recent wellbeing reviews to inform the development ofthe strategy and identify areas for improvement.
oIncorporaterecommendations and insights from the review process into the ongoingenhancement of wellbeing initiatives.
oContribute to the development, evaluation andmonitoring of the wellbeing teams operational policies and services, throughthe deployment of skills in research, service evaluation and audit.
oUtilisetheory, evidence-based literature and research to support evidence basedpractice in the wellbeing service.
