About the Bronte/Lawrence Units
The Bronte/Lawrence Units provide nurse-led outpatient services for patients requiring treatments such as blood transfusions, platelet transfusions, venesections, and intravenous therapies, including immunoglobulin, bisphosphonates, and biological therapies. Our dedicated team consistently receives high praise from patients and their families, reflecting our commitment to excellent care. Role of the Unit Clerk
The Unit Clerk acts as the Unit Receptionist and provides clerical support to clinical staff. Responsibilities include:
1. Being the primary contact for patient and staff inquiries via various routes, both internal and external.
2. Responding to routine issues and escalating concerns to the Line Manager when necessary.
3. Performing basic clerical tasks such as preparing and issuing routine letters, managing post, photocopying, and completing standard forms and returns.
4. Managing patient records, including case notes and investigation results, ensuring their availability for clinical staff.
5. Maintaining relevant filing systems and inputting data into computerised databases, including data interrogation for reports.
The successful candidate will work over three days. Please note that interviews will be held in person only; remote interviews are not available.
