Our client is looking for a dynamic General Manager to lead operations at their Milton Keynes site, driving performance across warehouse and transport functions while building a strong, stable culture within the team.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead day-to-day site operations, including warehouse, picking & packing, and transport distribution.
* Manage and develop a team of c.40 staff across a 24/7 operation.
* Build strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of service delivery.
* Manage site budgets, costs, and resources effectively to achieve agreed financial targets.
* Drive operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and cultural stability at the site.
* Balance hands-on leadership with strategic planning and commercial responsibility.
The successful candidate will bring:
* Experience in logistics, 3PL, or distribution.
* Strong people leadership skills, with experience building and developing teams.
* Expertise in warehouse and transport operations, with a commercial and customer-focused mindset.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence clients and colleagues at all levels.
