Robin Hood Primary School is a ‘good’ and increasingly popular school. As an Administration Officer you will be working in a busy fast-paced school environment, playing a crucial role in the smooth operation of the school office.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing the school’s front office, warmly welcoming pupils, parents and visitors
2. Responding to telephone calls and emails
3. Maintaining accurate records, including pupil attendance, producing management information from databases and spreadsheets
4. Operating and maintaining the daily provision of school dinners
5. Administrative tasks such as data entry and photocopying
6. Supporting teachers and staff with administrative needs
7. Supporting with school admissions
8. Collaborating with other school personnel to ensure efficient school operations
All candidates require:
9. GCSE Maths and English grade C+ or equivalent
10. Previous administrative experience in an educational setting
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
12. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
13. Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
14. Knowledge of ParentMail and ParentPay
15. Experience of SIMS or other MIS
