About the role
Be part of this 'once in a generation' project that will deliver clean energy to 6 million homes for the next 60 years. Sizewell C will see the creation of a 3.2 Gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast to provide reliable load low-carbon electricity.
The Civil Works Alliance is an extended delivery enterprise involving Sizewell C and three international construction companies: Balfour Beatty, Bouygues Travaux Publics and Laing O'Rourke.

What you'll be doing
They will report to the MEWP Manager
The CWA MEWP Co-Ordinator will support the Plant Team across the project, responsibility including but not limited to:
* Support the MEWP Manager in overseeing all MEWPs under CWA control
* Monitor MEWP telemetry data for location, utilisation and fault alerts
* Conduct daily audits of MEWP operations, checks, and documentation
* Ensure operators complete daily inspections and report faults in the way
* Control MEWP movements on platforms, preventing unauthorised use or relocation
* Liaise with contractors to ensure declared MEWPs meet CWA requirements
* Assist with familiarisations and demonstrations, maintaining accurate records
* Report breakdowns and damages to the MEWP Manager and wider CWA Plant Team
* Escalate non-compliance or safety concerns promptly
* Maintain site presence to support delivery teams and enforce MEWP governance
* Ensure operatives have completed the required training and demonstrates competence through up-to-date log books and signs off where appropriate
* Have responsibility for authorising MEWP activities on site.
* Establish the machine specific MEWP safety documentation pack.
* Have control of all MEWPs entering site and ensure MEWP safety documentation pack is provided with each MEWP.
* Ensure that daily checks are carried out and recorded

Who we're looking for
Knowledge & Skills
Essential
* Working knowledge of MEWP operations and safety procedures
* Experience with plant telemetry systems or digital inspection tools
* Strong communication and co-ordination skills
* Ability to follow procedures and escalate issues appropriately
Desirable
* Familiarity with PUWER, LOLER, BS8460

o Experience working with MEWPs in a site-based role
* CSCS Card Holder
* Knowledge of lifting operations within a large infrastructure project
* Knowledge around harness inspections and compliance
