Retail Security Officer role at Amberstone Security. Base pay range provided by Amberstone Security; actual pay will be based on skills and experience.
Location & Hours
Location: Cardiff Llanishen
Hours: 42 hours
Shift Pattern: Monday, Thursday 13:30-22:00; Friday, Saturday 12:30-22:00; Sunday 10:00-16:00
Compensation
Hourly Rate: £12.60
Main Responsibilities
* Provide visible deterrence and respond to incidents in-store
* Complete incident reports and collaborate with local authorities
* Carry out guarding duties in store and perform duties as required
* Patrol the shop floor and deter criminal activity
* Assess vulnerabilities and work to minimise risk
* Liaise with management and local authorities
* Manage vulnerable persons with empathy
* Conduct colleague and contractor searches in line with policy
* Digitally report incidents and use devices for daily activity planning
* Prepare detailed and legible incident reports to assist the Client and Local Authorities
Requirements & Qualifications
* Valid SIA licence required to apply
* Previous retail security experience is an advantage but not essential; full training will be provided
* Must provide a full 5-year checkable work or education history
* Right to work documents and current proof of address to be provided if selected for interview
* Current SIA Guarding or SIA Door Supervisor licence preferred
