We’re working with a forward-thinking, well-established manufacturing organisation committed to focussed environmental responsibility, sustainable innovation, and net zero leadership – and they’re seeking a proactive Sustainability Compliance & Net Zero Co-Ordinator to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities of the Sustainability Compliance & Net Zero Co-Ordinator:
1. Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational H&S)
2. Lead and support initiatives to reduce the organisation’s environmental footprint, including monitoring Scope 1-3 CO₂ emissions and progress toward Net Zero KPIs
3. Collate and analyse environmental data to drive continuous improvement in sustainability performance
4. Prepare clear, impactful reports on sustainability and compliance for internal teams, external auditors, clients, and regulatory bodies
5. Assist with ethical supply chain certifications (FSC, FISP), EcoVadis assessments, and packaging compliance (PPT)
6. Partner with sales and public sector teams to provide transparent, data-backed CSR and sustainability insights
7. Engage with external bodies, auditors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure the business remains at the forefront of sustainability and regulatory excellence
Reporting directly to the HSES Manager, this Sustainability Compliance & Net Zero Co-Ordinator role is ideal for someone passionate about sustainable development, ethical business practices, and making a tangible environmental impact.
What We’re Looking For:
8. Solid knowledge of sustainability frameworks, net zero roadmaps, and CSR strategy
9. Experience with ISO standards and document control (ISO 14001, ISO 45001 preferred)
10. Familiarity with supply chain traceability, particularly in relation to materials like fabric or wood (FSC certification, etc.)
11. Strong IT skills – especially in Microsoft Excel and Word
12. A sustainability-related qualification or relevant training would be a distinct advantage
13. Full right to work in the UK
14. Based in or near Merseyside
