Individual Needs Assistant Required - Brighton
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and proactive Individual Needs Assistant to provide tailored support for a student within an academic setting in Brighton.
The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day academic and personal support needs, helping to promote independence, confidence, and engagement in education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing one-to-one support during academic activities
* Assisting with organisation, note-taking, and time management
* Supporting communication and social interaction where required
* Encouraging independence and participation
* Liaising professionally with staff and relevant support services
Essential Skills & Qualities:
* Patient, understanding, and professional approach
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
* Organised, dependable, and flexible
* Previous experience in support work, education, or care is desirable
Location:Brighton
Hours & Pay:Flexible hours available. Competitive rate of pay dependent on experience.
