Our Grocery Service Centre, based near Liverpool, is a hub for transactional activity across multiple ABF companies within the ABF Grocery division. We are seeking an experienced SAP Material Master Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and governance of material master data within SAP, ensuring data accuracy, consistency and compliance with business standards.

Key Accountabilities
* Create, extend, and maintain material master records in SAP.
* Ensure data accuracy across views (Basic Data, Purchasing, MRP, Accounting, Costing).
* Manage material classifications, units of measure, and valuation data.
* Perform mass uploads/updates Excel uploads.
* Maintain BOMs (Bills of Materials) and work with routing data where required.
* Ensure compliance with data governance standards.
* Run standard costs estimates.
* Work with finance teams on cost roll‑ups and standard cost updates.
* Materials price maintenance.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
* Troubleshoot and resolve data‑related issues.
The Right Person
Essential
* Proven experience working with SAP Material Master data (MM module).
* High attention to detail and data accuracy.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Advantageous
* An in‑depth understanding and application of food hygiene/GMP/(ABSS standards).
* Understanding of baking process.
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (CIEH Level 2) IOSH or equivalent.
* Ability to demonstrate basic engineering competencies/mechanical empathy.
* Understanding of Continuous Improvement techniques.
* Computer Literate (understand and interact with HMI screens).
