A leading professional services firm is seeking a dynamic Business Advisory Consultant to join their growing team. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with clients as a trusted advisor, delivering high-quality accounting and consultancy services while influencing strategic decision‑making.
What You’ll Do
* Preparing statutory accounts under UK GAAP and IFRS
* Managing month‑end close for complex clients
* Delivering tailored management reports and KPI dashboards
* Advising on accounting treatments and identifying process improvements
* Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
* Communicating directly with clients on trading positions, legislative changes, and future outlooks
What You’ll Bring
You’re a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with solid experience in accounts preparation and outsourced accounting. You combine technical proficiency with a commercial mindset and thrive in client‑facing environments.
* Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and tax principles
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
* A proactive, adaptable approach and a genuine interest in helping clients succeed
