Job Introduction
Would you like to be part of a small and highly specialised service committed to supporting individuals in the community?
Would you like to involve people and support them to be part of the local community?
Would you like to be well trained, well supported, well paid, and know that you are making a positive difference every time you go to work?
About Me
I am looking for people to support me in Canterbury, both at home and in my local community.
I enjoy spending time with animals, family & friends, socializing, and learning new skills.
I need support throughout the day in my home and community to develop independent living skills, stay safe, maintain a healthy lifestyle, manage anxiety, and handle challenges specific to me. I sometimes find time with my own thoughts challenging and need caring people to support me with these feelings.
I am embarking on an exciting and new journey in my own home and will need support to achieve the best life possible, from people who are enthusiastic to take this journey with me.
Shift Patterns
This is a 24-hour service, so flexibility is essential. You will work a variety of shifts, including nights and some weekends. There is also the option to discuss flexible shifts, such as nights only or weekends only, on a part-time basis.
Potential average earnings depend on additional shifts worked and, where applicable, sleep-ins.
Sleep-ins are not required in all services.
Not all colleagues will work overtime; therefore, potential earnings may vary.
