Responsibilities
* Assist in the provision of a high‑quality, patient‑focused aseptic service, particularly regarding the provision of a chemotherapy compounding service.
* Assist senior technicians in the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy aseptic service, including training technicians, apprentices and assistants.
* Help facilitate and support the efficient and cost‑effective use of medicines within the aseptic unit.
* Provide safe, timely, cost‑effective, appropriate and high‑quality pharmaceutical services for patients and staff.
* Train and re‑validate staff in all aseptic practices and assist managers with daily duties.
Qualifications
Pharmacy Technician registered with the GPhC and qualified Accredited Checking Technician with the required aseptic training.
