We are looking for an Chef who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
The Chef, will be responsible for:
* Maintain the smooth running of the kitchen and server area at all times
* Ensure service complies with legislation and relevant standards
* Provide daily advice, coaching, and support to staff
* Coordinate daily kitchen and servery operations
* Allocate tasks and ensure efficient use of resources
* Oversee and prepare food, considering special dietary requirements
* Ensure food meets high standards for residents and staff
* Coach and support staff and residents to enhance performance
* Ensure compliance with company policies, legislation, and best practices
* Monitor staff and resident performance daily
* Assist in searching residents as necessary for safety and security
* Monitor and account for all equipment and materials
* Maintain accurate documentation and labelling
* Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen and servery areas
* Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment
* Handle routine queries and escalate when necessary
* Receive and securely store supplies
* Identify and escalate incidents affecting safety or operations
To be successful for this Chef role you must have:
* Level 2 Food Hygiene certification
