In this role, you will work as part of a team organising Leakage Inspectors' workloads for proactive and reactive leak detection.
The role will be based in Taunton.
What you'll do
As a Leakage Manager, you will:
* Deliver the team's sub-division leakage target
* Manage an efficient 24/7 leakage delivery workstream to meet regulatory targets
* Manage quality assurance and conduct regular health and safety audits
* Drive performance and efficiency improvements across the team
* Manage the team's training and development
* Perform desktop studies to ensure best practices are being adhered to
* Drive the correct behaviours within the team
* Be responsible for the team's recruitment
* Take ownership of HR responsibilities for the team
* Develop close relationships with other supply business teams, including Distribution, Customer, Scheduling, and Repair and Maintenance
* Suggest ways to improve the supply network within budget constraints
* Manage leakage contractors and authorise invoices
* Manage the team's budget expenditure

* Extensive knowledge of pipe ownership
* A good understanding of wastewater notices and legal processes
* A full UK driving licence
