Logistic Stores Team Leader

Serco are recruiting for a Logistic Team Leader within the stores area at the Defence Academy. We are looking for someone who ideally has some experience of working within a Military background.
Main Accountabilities:
1. Line Manager Duties and responsibilities for the lead storekeepers and storekeepers under his line management.
2. Deputise for the Senior Stores Supervisor during leave and absence.
3. Responsible for ensuring the monthly auditable returns have been completed and submitted on time.
4. Unit Application Administrator (UAA) for the Management of the Joint Deployed Inventory (MJDI).
5. Responsible for the ensuring all MJDI management checks are processed.
6. Attendance at the Logistics Monthly Management meetings as required.
7. Responsible for briefing his staff on current Serco and Logistics Issues.
8. Receive, Issue, Control and Account for all equipment and stores within the Defence Academy and Lodger Units in accordance with current regulations.
9. Disposal of equipment in accordance with current regulations.
What you’ll need to do the role:
10. Management of Joint Deployed Inventory (MJDI) Trained (desirable)
11. Some Military stores experience
12. Full UK Driving Licence.
13. Able to work individually as well as part of a team.
14. Good organisational skills
