Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking an Admin Officer to work with Durham Council on a temporary assignment. This is a full time role, working 37 hours per week (Mon – Fri).
Overview:
This is a busy but interesting role, requiring the ability to work under pressure with excellent organisational, communication and IT skills. The successful candidate will be operating within the Children’s Social Care division, and will be responsible for producing high quality notes of meetings within prescribed timeframes.
Main Duties:
* Minute taking via Teams for 2-3 meetings per day
* Support departmental meetings including child protection conferences and child in care reviews
* Liaise with families and various agencies including Health, Education and the Police
* Ensure accurate and timely documentation of meeting discussions
Essential Criteria:
* Proven minute taking experience
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficient in IT and using Teams for virtual meetings
