Overview
FINTEC recruit is seeking a Management Accountant for our engineering client based in Highland region. This is a permanent position, office based. You will be working with internal departments within the UK and with the European Finance team, reporting to the Director of Finance.
Responsibilities
* Preparing and managing month end and annual year end accounts & reports
* Preparing monthly management accounts and variance analysis
* Monitoring capital project spend and completion reviews
* Prepare annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts
* Training and support within the wider finance teams.
* Be driven and proactive in working within a fast paced international business environment
Skills and experience required for the Management Accountant role
* Qualified Accountant, finance professional with a proven track record within a Management Accountancy role or similar,
* Experience of working with financial and non-financial stakeholders
* Advanced excel skills - ability to manipulate data for financial analysis (including pivot tables and lookups) Good IT skills
* Desirable, Microsoft Dynamics AX, product costing & running SOX and internal control audits – not an essential
