Description
We are looking for a Junior Valuations Editor / Database Assistant to support the Vehicle Valuation Managers in editing and maintaining accurate vehicle valuations across both the Car and LCV datasets. The role involves collating evidential datasets to make informed valuation change decisions while adhering to CDL’s valuation change methodology.
Your responsibilities include working as part of a team supporting database assistants with new vehicle data, creating and maintaining vehicle pricing and specification information in our database of Cars, LCVs, and Motorcycles. You will also liaise with clients and associates via phone and email, supporting the wider Vehicle Valuation team.

Scope of Job
* Vehicle Valuations: Assist Valuation Managers in maintaining accurate, data-driven used vehicle valuations for Cars and LCVs.
* Vehicle Data: Keep vehicle pricing and specification data current and precise.
* Vehicle Linking: Maintain internal model code linkages to ensure accurate valuation outputs.
* Communication: Liaise with colleagues, clients, and associates to resolve data errors and client queries.
* Administrative Support: Support the team in meeting deadlines and completing tasks.
* Customer Relationship Management: Represent CDL professionally and build strong relationships.
* Personal Development: Take ownership of your growth and identify training needs.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
* Interest or experience in the UK automotive industry, especially used car pricing, models, and specifications.
* Proven accuracy in data editing and input.
* Attention to detail and numerical skills.
* Experience in building professional relationships.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Qualifications
GCSEs or equivalent with A-C grades in Maths and English preferred.
