We’re partnering with aleading independent plant & tool hire businesswith a strong and growing footprint across the UK. With continued expansion and investment, they are now looking to bring in ahigh-calibre Hire Controllerto support depot operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Managing the day-to-day operations of theHire Desk, ensuring a smooth and efficient hire process
* Coordinating hire equipment, fleet availability, and stock levels across the depot and wider network
* Overseeinghire contracts, off-hires, and auditsto ensure accuracy and compliance
* Working closely with logistics teams to ensuretimely and efficient transport scheduling
* Handling inbound calls and enquiries while supportingsales opportunities and conversions
* Identifying and acting onnew business opportunitiesfrom customer interactions
* Supporting pricing, rates, and commercial decisions when required
* Building strong relationships with customers toenhance retention and growth
What We’re Looking For
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Commercial mindset with the ability toidentify sales opportunities
* Confident working independently and under pressure
* Strongrelationship-building and negotiation skills
* Good IT proficiency and attention to detail
* A proactive, flexible, and solutions-driven approach
(Plant / construction knowledge is advantageous but not essential)
