Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Support Medical Secretary to join the Gastroenterology Admin Team at Glan Clwyd Hospital.
Responsibilities
The role includes providing a comprehensive range of secretarial and administrative duties to the Gastroenterology Department. This challenging position requires a team player who is flexible, organised and able to work well under pressure.
The successful candidate will be an experienced typist, qualified to RSA Typing Level II (or equivalent) and will have excellent communication skills. The role demands the ability to meet the demands of working in a busy environment and represent the department with professionalism.
Preferred Skills
Ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome.

Qualifications
* NVQ Business Administration L3 or equivalent experience
* RSA / OCR Level 2 or equivalent (proficient user of Microsoft Word)
* IT related qualification CLAIT plus / ECDL or equivalent

* AMSPAR – City & Guilds L3
* NVQ Customer Service L3
Experience
* Knowledge of a range of administrative processes
