Technical Paraplanner | Hybrid Policy | London | £ Package dependent on experience
We are working with a growing FinTech firm based in London who deliver institutional level solutions to highly sophisticated private investors. Ideally, the candidate would have 10+ years’ experience within paraplanning or an akin technical specialist position with chartered status. This individual will have an imperative position in ensuring and maintaining the highest standards of financial advice and client service delivery within the client advice team, and ensuring all matters are executed with precision. This is one of the most exciting FinTech firms that have launched in recent years and already have significant assets on board. Their culture is progressive, collegiate and is best described as high performance but low ego. More details on request, but it should be stressed that there are several differentiating factors this firm have compared to their competition in what is a crowded market. Perhaps best described as having the culture of a FinTech start up whilst delivering institutional level service to sophisticated investors.
They are looking for a well-rounded individual who can take on technical responsibilities immediately. The right individual would also have an interest in re-inventing the wealth management industry and the attributes to be successful in a dynamic, collegiate and ego-free culture. They are looking for someone who can combine a commercial, yet consultative, approach to continuous improvement of advice process and knowledge base through proactive engagement with regulatory changes and best practice models.
As with any role with a small, growing firm, this position will be broad in scope. Some, but not all, responsibilities are as follows:
* Support client team in strategizing financial strategies that align with the client’s needs and objectives
* Proactive engagement with compliance team to ensure compliance practices
* Involvement in client meetings for provision on technical matters and clarification
* Being central to the maintenance of records and documentation

* Holds Charterer Financial Planner status (Lv6) from the CII.
* Clinical attention to detail
* Desire to be involved in the professional culturing of junior members of the team
