We are advertising for Bank Activities and Support Workers to work a variety of shifts across our homelessness day centres and accommodation projects in Manchester and Bury. You will provide a friendly and professional welcome to people using our services, spending time in communal areas and cafes. During Activity Shifts, you will deliver education, training, and positive recreational activities, such as working in our internet café, or running cookery, games, or arts and crafts sessions. Shifts are between 9am - 2pm on Monday to Friday, or on Saturday and Sunday afternoons for 4 hours.
During Support Shifts, responsibilities include building checks, dealing with emergencies, answering calls, monitoring CCTV, and minor domestic tasks. Shifts are evenings (16:45 - 21:15), nights (20:45 - 9:15), and weekends (8:45 - 21:15). Experience working with homeless, vulnerable, or disadvantaged groups in a residential setting is essential. Good IT and admin skills and a positive team attitude are required.
