What you'll do:
As Commodities Indirect Tax Senior Manager, you will be at the heart of a high-performing team dedicated to providing best-in-class indirect tax support for a wide range of commodities products. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve advising on complex transactions, reviewing new product proposals for compliance risks, liaising with international advisors, developing robust risk management frameworks, monitoring legislative changes across EMEA, and supporting internal stakeholders with practical solutions. * Provide expert indirect tax advisory support to the Commodities and Global Markets business across the EMEA region, focusing on VAT, import duties, customs duties and related taxes.
* Review transactions and new product or business proposals to ensure compliance with all relevant indirect tax requirements while delivering commercial outcomes.
* Liaise with an international network of business advisors to interpret, implement and challenge advice as necessary for optimal results.
* Work closely with business and operational teams to develop best practice indirect tax risk management processes tailored to products, transactions and legal entity structures.
* Advise on strategies for mitigating indirect tax costs while ensuring ongoing compliance with legislative changes affecting commodities businesses throughout EMEA.
* Manage relationships with revenue authorities in the region to maintain compliance with reporting requirements and foster positive engagement.
* Support internal stakeholders by providing clear guidance on complex indirect tax issues impacting commodities products.
* Monitor legislative developments in indirect taxes across EMEA that may affect the Commodities and Global Markets business unit.
