Are you a confident communicator with the ability to inspire and engage young people? Do you thrive in a lively, positive environment where every day brings a new challenge and an opportunity to make a difference? If so, this could be the role for you.
We are working with a happy, inclusive, and academically successful secondary school in Harrow, committed to supporting and challenging every student to reach their full potential. The school has built a reputation for nurturing curiosity, encouraging independence, and celebrating achievement across all Key Stages.
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom to maintain a purposeful learning environment in the absence of the teacher. You’ll deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and ensure students remain engaged and motivated. While you won’t be expected to plan lessons, your role is central in keeping the momentum of learning alive.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a career in teaching, experienced teaching assistants ready for the next step, or anyone with strong classroom management skills and a passion for education.
What we’re looking for:
• Confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic individuals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to manage behaviour positively and fairly.
• A genuine commitment to helping young people achieve success.
Why join this school?
• Be part of a supportive, welcoming team with a shared passion for education.
• Gain valuable classroom experience across Key Stages 3–5.
• Contribute to a school community where staff and students feel valued.
If you’re ready to take on a rewarding role where no two days are the same, we’d love to hear from you.
