Pattern: 2 shift types available: Option 1: Tuesday - Saturday / Option 2: Sunday Thursday Hours: 40 working hours per week, 0800 -1700 (flexible as agreed with Line Manager) Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Reports to: Production Supervisor/Production Manager Location : Dungannon The Role The Line Leader (Prep Despatch) will support the Production Supervisor/Manager in the efficient day-to-day running of the department within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will ensure production targets are achieved safely, on time, and in full compliance with food safety, quality, and legal standards. The role involves coordinating team activities, ensuring adequate staffing and training, maintaining high hygiene standards, and driving operational efficiency. You will also provide supervisory cover in the absence of the Production Supervisor, ensuring continuity, performance, and clear communication across the team. Key Responsibilities Lead, manage and develop the team to achieve operational objectives and agreed KPIs. Ensure full compliance with all Food Safety, Quality, and Health & Safety standards and procedures. Carry out required Food Safety and Quality checks, including CCP monitoring and documentation. Ensure the safe operation of machinery, including completion of start-up checks and prompt reporting and escalation of any defects. Promote and enforce adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times. Maintain high standards of housekeeping, operating a strict clean as you go policy. Ensure all company documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner. Deliver all orders to the required quality standards, within agreed timeframes, and in line with customer specifications. Monitor and control waste to minimise loss and maximise resource efficiency. Support preparation for internal and external audits and assist during on-site inspections and customer visits. Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role and level of responsibility within the organisation.
