Responsibilities
* Support young people in many aspects of daily life within our homes.
* Help young people continue with hobbies, social activities, and friendships, and learn new skills.
* Provide day‑to‑day care and create a safe, homely, therapeutic environment.
* Support with daily routines such as getting ready for school and ensuring healthy and balanced meals.
* Ensure the young person has a safe space to relax and unwind within the home.
* Support our young people to reach their potential and experience new opportunities.
* Stimulate development through activities and consistent care.
* Build meaningful relationships and ensure safeguarding needs are met.
* Work collaboratively with other professionals and contribute to care planning.
Qualifications & Skills
* Full UK Manual Diving licence.
* Ability to be a great role model for looked‑after children.
* Ability to build trusting relationships.
* A genuine care and compassion for looked‑after children.
* Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends and sleep‑ins.
* Willingness to complete a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People Workforce.
