Residential Childcare Workers (Casual) – Ref: CH01026
Salary: G6 £31,537 (pro-rata if part-time)
Plus Sleep‑ins allowance as required.
Contract: Casual – no guaranteed hours; hours offered as required to meet the needs of the Children’s Homes.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct care to children living in the home, offering high levels of engagement and aiming to achieve positive outcomes.
* Assist with daily activities such as cooking, homework and recreational activities.
* Attend meetings, address challenging behaviour and write reports.
Requirements
* Level 3 residential child care qualification or equivalent.
* Experience within the residential sector.
* Age 21 or older.
* Completion of an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.
