We are looking for a motivated and persuasive Telesales Executive to join our life insurance team. This role is responsible for contacting potential clients, engaging them in meaningful conversations, and qualifying their needs and suitability for life insurance products. The ideal candidate will be confident on the phone, target-driven, and able to build rapport quickly while maintaining professionalism and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead Engagement & Qualification
* Contact prospective clients via outbound calls (warm leads and referrals).
* Clearly explain life insurance offerings and assess the client's interest, financial needs, and eligibility.
* Qualify leads by gathering key information (age, health, income, dependents, coverage needs, etc.).
* Schedule follow-up appointments or transfer qualified leads to licensed advisors/closers.
* Customer Interaction & Relationship Building
* Establish trust and rapport quickly to create a positive first impression.
* Handle objections confidently and provide accurate, compliant responses.
* Deliver an excellent customer experience while working within regulatory guidelines.
* Performance & Reporting
* Meet and exceed daily/weekly call, lead conversion, and qualification targets.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions in the CRM system.
* Provide feedback on lead quality and market trends to improve acquisition strategies.
* Compliance & Quality Assurance
* Adhere to industry regulations, data protection, and company compliance standards.
* Ensure all conversations remain ethical, transparent, and customer-centric.
* Participate in ongoing training to remain up to date on products and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience in telesales, call center, or outbound sales (insurance experience preferred).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and persuade.
* Confidence in handling a high volume of outbound calls.
* Goal-oriented, resilient, and motivated by performance-based incentives.
* Ability to quickly understand client needs and qualify opportunities effectively.
* Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CRM systems.
