What You'll Be Doing:
As a Production Operator, your responsibilities will include:
* Operating bending machinery, tools, and equipment safely and according to instructions.
* Engaging in physical and manual work, including the movement and lifting of steel bars.
* prioritising and completing production activities efficiently.
* Setting up or adjusting equipment based on manufacturing specifications.
* Monitoring the quality of output, ensuring any faulty products are identified and addressed.
* Maintaining accurate daily production records to facilitate performance analysis.
* Using measuring tapes with precision.
* Operating overhead cranes (training will be provided!).
What We're Looking For:
* This role involves heavy lifting and manual labour in a steel production environment, so a strong physical ability is essential.
* While steel or production experience is not necessary, experience in labouring or construction is a significant advantage.
* A willingness to learn and a can-do attitude are crucial for success in this role.
* Full training will be provided to ensure you are well-equipped for your tasks.
