SEN Teaching Assistant – ASC Focus – Tameside Secondary School Location: Tameside | Start: September 2025 | Pay: £90–£100 per day | Contract: Full-time Teaching Personnel is working with a secondary school in Tameside looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). You will work under the guidance of the SENCO and teaching staff to deliver in-class support and one-to-one sessions with students who require help managing transitions, social communication, and classroom engagement. Responsibilities will include: Supporting students with ASC both in and out of class Providing one-to-one and small-group intervention Implementing EHCP targets and working on social communication skills Liaising with SEN staff, therapists, and families The successful candidate will be patient, adaptable, and passionate about inclusive education.
