Electrical Project Manager – Location: Belvedere (Office 85% / Site 15%). Salary: £50,000 - £55,000. Type: Permanent.
Are you an experienced Electrical Project Manager ready for your next challenge? Carbon60 is recruiting for a Project Manager to join a leading engineering client, working alongside an established PM on a variety of exciting projects.
Responsibilities
* Prepare quotes and produce cable schedules, I/O schedules, and termination sheets
* Develop risk and method statements
* Book site operatives for inductions and coordinate with the office manager
* Design bespoke control panels
* Oversee electrical installations on site (fuel systems, generators, generator controllers, containment works)
* Install and test new cabling, including terminations and connections
* Conduct electrical testing, generator load bank testing (FAT & SAT), and PLC control system FAT & SAT
* Perform wiring and switchboard modifications
* Test and commission generators, controllers, and fuel systems
* Witness installations with commissioning teams, manage sign-offs, and deliver client training
* Arrange and manage subcontractors, approve invoices
* Train apprentices in electrical installation and generator works
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience in an Electrical Project Manager role
* Experience with control panels and generators
* Strong knowledge of electrical components and principles
* Familiarity with industry terminology, standards, and regulations
* Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
