We are looking for a motivated and commercially driven National Telesales Specialist to help expand our customer base, strengthen relationships, and support the continued success of our UK Sea Logistics organisation. In this role, you will focus on customer retention, development, and new business acquisition across defined business fields and transport modes - ensuring our customers receive excellent service and a seamless experience interacting with KuehneNagel. Your Role As part of the National VT-E function, you will contribute directly to revenue and portfolio growth by identifying new export opportunities, nurturing existing customers, and coordinating closely with internal teams. You will act as a key connector between customers and our internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth onboarding, effective communication, and the promotion of our Sea and Air Logistics solutions. This is a dynamic and target-driven role where your sales ability, product knowledge, and relationship-building skills will shine. How you create impact Generate new export business opportunities with a focus on the SME sector. Conduct cold calls and onboarding calls with new customers to support growth and quality agreements. Create and follow up on quotations, proposals and presentations using KN tools. Take pricing decisions in alignment with Trade teams. Analyse customer needs and identify actions to secure business growth. Promote KN digital/online solutions to strengthen customer retention and loyalty. Maintain accurate CRM records of all sales activities, opportunities and customer contacts. Collaborate closely with internal departments to resolve customer requirements and support development. What we would like you to bring Experience in a similar telesales/inside-sales role with proven sales success. Strong communication skills and customer-oriented approach. Knowledge of sales processes, customer retention and customer care. Advanced skills using MS Office, CRM systems and relevant digital tools. Strong commercial, analytical and entrepreneurial mindset. Experience managing customer portfolios and building pipelines. Ability to create compelling value propositions and influence decisions.
