Robert Half are seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager on a permanent basis to lead our finance administration team and ensure the smooth execution of all month-end and financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, be highly organised, and have a solid grounding in financial reporting and supplier relationship management. Experience with PS Financials (PSF) is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
* Team Leadership & Development:
o Manage and support a team of Finance Administrators.
o Set clear objectives and carry out regular one-to-one meetings and annual appraisals.
o Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
* Month-End Activities:
o Oversee all monthly finance activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
o Lead the month-end close process, including final journal postings, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
o Ensure timely and accurate completion of management accounts to support the production of CEO reporting packs.
* Supplier & Stakeholder Management:
o Manage and maintain key supplier relationships, ensuring queries are resolved promptly and terms are adhered to.
o Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal departments, maintaining strong communication and service levels.
* Capital Projects:
o Oversee financial elements of capital projects, including budgeting, tracking, and reporting on capital spend.
* KPI Reporting:
o Manage and report on monthly finance KPIs, providing insights and commentary to senior management.
o Identify trends and opportunities to improve financial efficiency and accuracy.
Desirable Experience and Skills
* Experience using PS Financials (PSF) accounting system is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team-first mindset.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive performance.
