We deliver an integrated property management service based on strong links between our Building Services and technical property functions. Therefore, the ability to interact constructively with a variety of stakeholders and partners is essential.
In this role, you will assist in a wide range of Building Surveying activities, including developing, supporting, and delivering accurate building information, providing technical advice, managing adaptations in housing stock, dilapidations, projects, and general Building Surveyor technical support.
The post also requires progressing all stages of development, design, project management, cost control, and delivery of fabric projects.
The successful candidate should possess a good knowledge and understanding of all building surveying principles.
With quality service provision and best value as key aspects, your focus will be on high customer satisfaction, demonstrating commitment to continuous improvement, and excellent communication skills.
You must hold a relevant degree-level RICS-approved academic qualification in Building Surveying. South Lanarkshire Council has a strong record in developing APC candidates, and applications are welcome from all levels of graduates to MRICS qualified candidates. Placement on the scale depends on experience.
