Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Ellesmere Port
Shift System: Mon-Fri 07:00-15:00, Mon-Fri 15:00-22:00, Sun-Thurs 22:00-07:00
Salary: £52,051.16 - £54,418.87
The Role
This position involves working for a leading manufacturer in the Ellesmere Port area, focusing on the maintenance of robotic, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background, with knowledge of Siemens S7 PLCs. Candidates from any industry or sector are welcome to apply.
Main Responsibilities
1. Reactive maintenance to resolve breakdowns.
2. Performing planned maintenance tasks.
3. Supporting production teams during production runs.
4. Systematic problem solving for repetitive issues/faults.
5. Applying continuous improvement processes (CIP).
The Candidate
* Time Served Apprenticeship – Multiskilled (Electrical and Mechanical), with a minimum qualification of ONC/HNC.
* Knowledge of Siemens S7 PLCs and devices is advantageous.
* Experience with Fanuc Robots, including programming and setup, is advantageous.
* Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits is advantageous.
* Sound interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* High level of self-motivation and tenacity.
