Duty Care Manager - Fixed Term Contract
McCarthy Stone is seeking a professional Duty Care Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract at their prestigious development, Barnhill Court, Chipping Sodbury.

Salary & Hours
* Base salary: £13.56 per hour (day rate) and £11.44 per hour (sleeping night rate), plus additional pay (details below)
* Hours: 33.5 per week, including day and night shifts, for 12 months
Day shifts vary between 08:45 - 16:30 and 16:15 - 09:30. Night shifts are from 21:30 to 09:00. Duty Care Managers sleep from 23:00 to 07:00, providing emergency support to homeowners during this period.

About the Role
We seek a warm, friendly, organized, and self-motivated Duty Care Manager with experience in care or support environments and excellent care skills. You will support the management and smooth operation of a vibrant community of active, independent older adults, ensuring they can enjoy their best lives in elegant private apartments within a beautiful setting, with the reassurance of always having support available.
About You
* You are a caring, organized individual with experience in health and social care.
* Preferably hold a QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Adults), but relevant experience and alternative qualifications will be considered.
* You are responsible for managing development security, safety, and wellbeing of residents, and overseeing care and support teams.
* You can facilitate community activities to promote community spirit.
* You are eager to develop your skills, lead by example, and think proactively.
* You are committed to enhancing the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
