Salary: £160-£220 per day
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm
About the School
We are working in partnership with a well-established and community-focused primary school in the Prestwich area that is seeking to appoint a committed and skilled Key Stage 2 Teacher from September 2026.

The Role
As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of teaching and learning within the KS2 curriculum, ensuring all pupils are supported and challenged appropriately.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
Create a positive and purposeful classroom environment that promotes high expectations
Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
Contribute to curriculum development and whole-school initiatives
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective teaching practice
Exhibit excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Be committed to raising achievement and supporting pupil wellbeing
Work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community
Eligibility Requirements:
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
