About the role If you enjoy being part of a market-leading, high performing and friendly team then this role could be just for you. You’ll be working closely as part of our award-winning Housebuilding & Strategic Land team (which includes our Social Housing team) with our legal transactions. There will be a particular focus on affordable housing disposals for our large housebuilder clients. The successful candidate will need to be able to work well in a team and build strong relationship with colleagues and clients. There is a lot of room for progression and we will support you in your professional development. Key Responsibilities Setting up extranets datarooms for affordable housing disposals Dealing with emails and phone calls from solicitors, clients, third parties and other team members Assisting with the preparation and issuing of documentation (contracts, transfers, deeds of covenant both etc paper and electronic/ DocuSign) under the supervision of a senior member of the team Dealing with completion of plots and phases for affordable housing disposals, including preparing completion statements, obtaining client signatures, and organising payments Completion and post-completion of acquisition transactions, including priority searches, Land Registry applications and SDLT filing Making sure all team files are in good order In addition to the above, there will be opportunities to work on wider matters across the team dependent on the candidates experience and aspirations. Your skills and qualifications Previous experience working as a legal administrator, legal assistant, paralegal, property executive or in similar roles is advantageous however not essential, as training will be provided Previous experience within real estate/ property law is advantageous however not essential Experience of setting up and maintaining administrative and filing procedures A solid foundation of office experience and a proactive approach to your work Client service orientated approach Able to work effectively as part of a diverse and inclusive team with strong communication skills Problem solving skills Strong computer skills, specifically in relation to MS Office Self-management and excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work calmly and effectively in a pressurised environment Attention to detail and discretion with confidential information Positive and enthusiastic team player Smart.
