Overview
Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to work within the Crisis Resolution Intensive Support Service (CRISS), with a focus on the CAU and Police Pathways Service. The post is based at the Becklin Centre, Leeds, delivering clinical work alongside the CAU, Section 136 Suite, and Street Triage teams. This permanent role (fixed-term 12-month applications also welcome) offers an opportunity to contribute to care for working-age adults experiencing acute mental health challenges.
Responsibilities
* Provide medical leadership and input to the CAU and Police Pathways services within CRISS.
* Collaborate with three Consultant Psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
* Contribute to crisis resolution services, including Section 136 assessments, brief CAU admissions, and support of the Street Triage Team.
* Deliver the majority of clinical work from the Becklin Centre hub, coordinating with CAU, Section 136 Suite, and Street Triage teams.
* Support the CRISS service model and ensure alignment with Core Fidelity Standards for Crisis Resolution services.
